As we celebrate Sukkot we think about many things. It is a time for rejoicing as we acknowledge G-D's grace and provision. Sukkot is the fall harvest feast and is celebrated by remembering G-D's provision each year and by building Sukkot or tabernacles. Sukkot are temporary dwelling places to remind us that G-D delivered our people out of Egypt and led them across the wilderness to the Promised Land. Each year at this time Jewish people gather with the families under their sukkot and spend time sleeping under the stars and looking at the handy work of G-D. As Messianic Believers we celebrate by not only remembering the physical deliverance of the People of G-D from Egypt, but also remembering and celebrating the spiritual deliverance brought about because Yeshua came and tabernacled with His people. As a result of Yeshua’s coming there has been a great harvest of both Jewish and non-Jewish Believers as the Kingdom of G-D expands year after year.
