There will be youth havdalah this week at 7:30 PM.
Brit Ahm's youth group welcomes young people ages 13-30; we follow the same age guidelines as the YMJA. Currently, we meet every week for a traditional Havdalah service, followed or preceded by a time to just relax. Times are subject to change throughout the year, as the ceremony includes the lighting of a candle and we therefore cannot begin until after Shabbat. This is a great time to invite friends who are not yet believers.
We encourage all of our congregants to fast on Thursdays for our children and youth. The battle against our young people has never been more real. It is up to us to wage war spiritually for our young people and two of the most effective weapons in our arsenal are fasting and prayer.
